This gives an incredible amount of flexibility. Speaking of devices, the software allows you to add as many devices as you like. Between these two, I had all the control and options I needed to manage all of my images and devices. In my own use, I found that I spent the majority of my time hopping back and forth between the "Folders" tab and the "Dashboard" tab. For further help, you can follow this link here. The Dashboard is the last tab from the left and offers most of the features you'll be using in the software. On the other hand, if you do need a little help getting things going, the "Getting Started" section under the Dashboard tab is a great place to start. You can quite comfortably skip over all of the little tips that pop up when using the software and still not come across any major navigation issues. The user interface is highly intuitive, and even without watching any tutorials, it's an incredibly straightforward piece of software to use. This is why Mylio Photos is simply excellent. One could argue that it's even more important if said software is helping you arrange or manage something. User InterfaceĪ good user interface is crucial to any software. This can even be done via a hotspot connection from say a smartphone to a tablet. As long as the devices can see one another, they will be able to sync. The only time a connection is required is when you're synchronizing photos between different devices. This means that all of your photos are available all the time on virtually any device. One of the key reasons for this is that Mylio Photos can operate entirely offline. The brand new app offers some of the best features for amateurs and professional photographers looking to manage their photos. Originals – An Original photo is a full-quality image file.Seattle-based company Mylio has been working hard to produce a photo management system for the last decade. Smart Previews – A Smart Preview file is a medium-quality version of your photo (approximately 5% of the original’s size) that accurately represents your photo while taking up a fraction of the storage space necessary for the Original. Thumbnails – A Thumbnail file is a small version of your photo (less than 1% the size of the Original) that is used for referencing your full library. Mylio Photos has three photo-quality sizes that can be stored on your devices: On smartphones and tablets, these files and folders are hidden as part of the application. On computers, external drives, and cloud services, these files are visible in the file system. In order to facilitate Mylio Photos’ device syncing, the application creates a variety of files and folders on each connected device. One of the key benefits of Mylio Photos is that, in addition to viewing all of your media inside of the application, you retain access to all of your photos and videos via your computer’s file system.
